Green Badge
Gymnasts learn and practice:
- Jumping: starting in the athletic stance than using legs, body, and arms to generate maximum jumping power.
- Landing: safety landing position to increase stability and minimize risk of injury
- Rolling: correct rolling techniques to improve confidence, strength, and coordination.
- Balancing: beam forwards walking, beam backwards walking, beam balance pose, and beam dismount; which improve balance, confidence, and focus.
- Flexibility and Conditioning: stretching, log rolls, and shoulder stands improve gymnasts' strength, flexibility, and balance.
Pre requisites:
- Introduction to Gymnastics.
